Seriously, whenever we go back 'home' I find myself missing Utah more and more. The mountains especially. So I am happy to report that we got a lot of mountain time in, this time. It's also great to see the fam. :)

UTahhhhhh......
I know it shouldn't seem like a trip to Utah is a vacation. Especially considering the fact that it starts with a 20 hour drive, in a jam packed mini van, with four kids, one dog, and two sleep deprived, over worked, underpaid (come on, the hubbies in residency)...parents. Thank goodness we had some Taylor Swift to keep up rockin' through the rockies (of Colorado), some Enya when bedtime rolled around, and a medically trained hubby that can drive through the night as if he were on call...while I wedged myself between sleeping kids to act as a pillow and a leg rest.

It was so fun to sit two rows behind Jeff at the BYU/SDSU game! I was sad you weren't with him! But glad to catch up with him and know you guys are doing well. Next time you are in state let us all know and we'll organize a gathering. :) Any excuse is a good one!

The mid-west is a beautiful place, but there really is just something about living in a valley. I didn't even know that I missed mountain sunrises and sunsets, until we moved to the Rogue. There's just something about the view and being above something... although I do miss the cornfields...
I know how you feel! Every time I make a trip to Utah I miss it more! And we've only been away for 1 1/2 years!

I know how you feel about Utah! Home sweet home seriously! Now if we take a vacation its to Utah!? I never thought OuR vacations would be to Utah, but if you live out of state thats what ya get! Miss you guys! Your family is beautiful!
